UK Weather Forecast

Headline: Battleground Britain Continues!!!!

Storm Chandra is making its presence felt today, with heavy rain sweeping across much of the UK and hill snow over northern areas. Things may brighten up later in the southwest, but with blustery showers in tow. It’ll be a windy day everywhere, with coastal gales and even severe gales in parts of the west — and it’ll feel rather cold in those gusts.

Tonight, rain and hill snow clear away northwards, leaving many areas drier with just a few showers lingering in the south. Winds stay strong in the north early on, but gradually ease as the night goes on.

Wednesday starts with some patchy fog in the east, then brings a largely dry day for many with sunny spells. A few showers may pop up in the southwest and northeast, and while it’ll stay breezy, winds won’t be as fierce as today.

Looking ahead to Thursday through Saturday, the unsettled theme continues with more showers or longer spells of rain, especially in the southwest and eastern Scotland. There will be some drier breaks too, particularly further east, but brisk winds will keep that chilly feel going.
